I would like to take a few moments of your time to introduce myself. I am sure that if you are like me, then you will feel more comfortable knowing a little more about the person who is about to play an important part in officiating, on your wedding day. The first wedding I officiated, was 1978, in Brisbane. Since then, I have officiated weddings from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and throughout Brisbane. Caboolture / Bribie Island to Tin Can Bay, the whole coastal strip and hinterland, Cairns, Townsville and so many places in between. Also interstate weddings, Sydney and Melbourne. I also officiate many private and intimate weddings, in the couple’s home or garden. Elopements to Large Guest list weddings. My family and I, have lived on the Sunshine Coast for the past thirty four years. Happily married, my wife and I share seven children and eleven grandchildren, showing we walk the talk and don’t just talk the walk! I love people and working alongside them, taking great pride in their achievements as well as being a part of their journey.in 1999, I studied and passed the exam to become a Justice of the Peace, Qualified. This has allowed me to put something of value into the community. Amongst other things. I have the honour and trust of many elderly folk, to overseer and watch out for their personal requirements, and requests. I sit with young people, whose parents can’t attend police interviews, to be there for their protection, as well as the police officers, that conduct the interviews. Both these and other duties, are quite a privilege . There you have a little background information about myself.
